Building automations
"I am not short on knowledge. I just get so stuck, and then my brain gets exhausted from trying to fix the same thing."
From Tom

If you've been trying to learn AI automation and still can't point at something live and say "I built that," read this.

I've worked with over 40 people in the last six months. Business owners, marketers, engineers, agency founders. Most had zero technical background when they started. The pattern is always the same. They don't need more information. They need someone to get them through the parts that break.

I'm taking 10 people through a 90-day build intensive. The plan below shows you how it works, who it's for, and what you'll walk away with.

Have a read. If it sounds right, fill out the application at the bottom. After you submit, you book a thirty-minute discovery call with me. We talk it through, decide together, and only then do you pay anything.

Tom

The problem nobody talks about

Stuck in the loop.

You've watched the videos. You've opened Claude Code. You've tried to build something real.

Then there's a null value. An API won't connect. Something works on Tuesday and breaks on Thursday.

So you open another tab. Watch another tutorial. Try a different approach. Now you've got 15 tabs open, three half-finished builds, and nothing in production.

I hear this on every single call I take. Smart people, not beginners, stuck in a loop of consuming without building. One woman told me:

"I am not short on knowledge. I just get so stuck, and then I spend a lot of time trying to fix it, and then my brain just gets exhausted from trying to fix the same thing."

That's not a you problem. That's a teaching problem. Most tutorials show you one thing working under perfect conditions. They don't show you how to think about what you're building. So when it breaks, you're guessing. When you want to build something new, you're starting from zero.

The fix isn't more tutorials.

Why what you've tried hasn't worked

Stop renting. Build and own.

Most people trying to bring AI into their business do one of two things.

They buy a done-for-you agent or hire an agency, and end up with a black box they can't change when their process changes.

Or they stitch together ChatGPT and templates from a YouTube video, and it breaks the first time real data hits it.

Either way you're renting something you don't control.

I do the opposite. I make you the person who builds and owns the system, on the same tool the labs use, Claude Code. You own it, and you can rebuild it in an afternoon. No more paying every month for software that almost fits.

The outcome

A working system. Live. Doing actual work.

Within your first week, we get on a call and build your first live agent together. Running in your business, doing real work.

Something you can use. Show your team. Show your clients. Build on.

And by the end of 90 days, you're not guessing anymore. You're the person people come to when something needs to be automated.

Not "you'll learn the tools." Not "you'll understand AI."

A working system. Live. Doing actual work.

Tom Crawshaw
A bit about me

I've been building automations for 8+ years.

I've helped drive over $25 million in revenue for clients using automation and AI systems. Private aviation, construction, marketing agencies, and plenty of others. I still build every day. I still consult.

The intensive exists because I kept meeting smart people stuck in tutorial loops who never became capable. They'd watch 50 YouTube videos, download templates, and still couldn't build something from scratch.

I've got a great track record because I only take on people I know I can help.

It's a small group, so I'm looking for the best fit here.

This won't work for you if

  • Want someone to build it for you
  • Can't commit 5 to 10 hours per week
  • Have been "looking into AI" for 6 months and haven't built anything
  • Want an AI agency course (I teach you to build for your own business)

But if you

  • Have a business or role where automation would save you real time
  • Take direction well and can follow a structured programme
  • Want to be the person everyone turns to for AI
  • Know that a real skill beats watching another tutorial

…the next 90 days could change how you work.

The plan is simple.

Ship. Build. Operate.

01
Weeks 1 to 4

Ship your first agent.

Your first 1:1 build lands in week one. We get on a call and put one live system into your business. You learn Claude Code by building it, not studying it.

You end the month with one thing live and saving you time.

02
Weeks 5 to 8

Build on your own.

Now you build the next two or three systems yourself, using the group call and your second 1:1 to get unstuck. You move from "Tom built one with me" to "I can build these myself."

By week 8 you've got three to four systems running and you're debugging your own.

03
Weeks 9 to 12

Operate without me.

You're connecting systems, debugging your own builds, and you become the person in your business everyone asks about AI.

By week 12 you stop needing the next tutorial. People ask you.

What you'll walk out able to do

The skills you keep.

What you get.

Why now

This is the only time you'll build with me directly.

Right now it's me. Ten operators, and I run every group call and every 1:1 build myself.

That doesn't scale, and I know it. As this grows I'll bring in a team to handle the builds, and the price goes up. The version where you sit on a call and build something live with the founder is this one.

If that's the part you want, this is the cohort to be in.

What they're saying

From the people who've done it.

Keven Elison testimonial
"Going through the program, building the things I need to, and then getting on a call and saying 'Hey, I didn't get this,' it just made it really easy for me to learn this stuff."

Content workflows: 7 days to 7 minutes.

Keven Elison
Marketing Director (63, zero technical background)
Chris Cole testimonial
"I developed my workflows with no coding background at all. Manual entry would take days. Now it runs in the background in minutes."

29 documents automated. Renewed for another 3 months on the spot.

Chris Cole
Civil Engineering Business Owner
Chris Hawes testimonial
"Far more valuable was the ability to think with AI, to think about what I could develop and how I could apply that in my business."

Now advising clients on AI strategy.

Chris Hawes
Content Marketer
Stephen testimonial
"The direct feedback was the biggest thing. If I was stuck anywhere, I could send you a video. You just nudged me in the right direction."

Week 1: first automation. Week 3: first paying client.

Stephen
Video Editor
Tim King testimonial
"This is structured learning rather than learning for learning's sake."

8 demos in his first month. Closing deals at $5K to $10K.

Tim King
Agency Owner
Kyle Rucker testimonial
"I just needed someone to tell me what to build first."

Gave an admin back 4-5 hours a day. Projecting six figures in year-one savings.

Operations Lead, Industrial Manufacturer

Build something real in week one, or your money back.

Your first week, we get on a 1:1 call and build one real thing together.

If it isn't something that genuinely saves you time in your business, you ask for a full refund. Every penny back. No forms, no call to talk you out of it.

The only way you're out anything is if we build you something that works, and you decide to keep going.

If you need to discuss this with a business partner or your company, share this page with them. It covers everything they'd want to know.

The investment

What it costs.

$3,000
One payment. The full 90 days.

I normally take 1:1 clients at $1,000 an hour. In here you get two 1:1 build sessions with me, a weekly group call, and direct video support, for $3,000 total. The two build sessions alone are most of that at my usual rate.

Installments are available if you need them. Ask me on the call.

After 90 days, you can continue month to month for as long as you're getting results.

Most people make this back in time saved alone. Students regularly save 10 to 20+ hours per week from what they build. That's $25,000 to $50,000 in annual time savings before you count any new revenue.

Ten spots at this price.

A weekly group call, plus two 1:1 build sessions and direct access to me, doesn't work with 200 people. I run all of it myself, so I keep each cohort small.

Ten spots at this price. Once they're gone, the price goes up.

Before you apply

The questions every applicant asks.

Who is the mentorship actually for?

Business owners and operators who already make real money and want to re-platform their company onto AI. Not for absolute beginners. Start with the free Blueprint or the 30-Day Challenge first. Not for VC-funded engineers either, you have your own team. This is for the 1-to-50-person operator who's tired of bookmarking demos.

What's the time commitment, week to week?

Plan on three to five focused hours a week for the first 30 days, dropping to two to four after that. One weekly group call (90 minutes), one async loop with me (~30 minutes), and the rest is heads-down build time inside Claude Code. The clients who shipped fast hit five hours a week. The ones who stretched it ran six hours every other week. Both worked.

What if I don't know what to build?

That's literally the first call. We map your business. What's repetitive, what's bottlenecking, where revenue is leaking. Then we pick three to five things to automate or rebuild. You don't bring a finished spec. You bring your real problems and we triage them on the screen.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The intensive runs entirely through Claude Code and a handful of standard SaaS tools (Airtable, Vercel, Sanity, etc.). If you can read English and use a Mac or Windows machine, you can do this. You will pick up enough to debug your own systems by week six. That's the point, you stay in control.

How is this different from the 30-Day Challenge?

The Challenge is a cohort sprint to ship four automations and a deployed app in 30 days. The intensive is 90 days of one-on-one work on your specific business: bigger systems, deeper integrations, and the strategy layer of which automations to build in what order. Many clients do the Challenge first, then move into the intensive.

Can I get someone on my team trained instead of me?

Yes. Plenty of owners want a person on their team to become the builder. Book the call and we'll work out the right setup for your business.

What's the refund policy?

Your first week, we get on a 1:1 call and build one real thing together. If it isn't something that genuinely saves you time in your business, you ask for a full refund and I send it back. Every penny. No forms, no call to talk you out of it.

How do I get in?

Click 'Start Your Application' below, fill in the form (about ten minutes), then book a 30-minute discovery call directly with Tom. You leave that call knowing whether it's a fit. No high-pressure pitch. If it's not the right move, you'll be pointed to a cheaper path.

P.S.

As soon as you're in, you get access to everything immediately. The resource library, the community, the video support. Start building before our first call together.
