I'm an AI consultant for small businesses doing $1M to $20M a year.

I build and deploy AI systems that take the repetitive admin off your team and give you back 10 to 20 hours a week.

Tell me the job your team still does by hand and I'll have a working first version in 7 to 14 days, at a fixed price from $10,000.

I'm Tom Crawshaw. I scope the job on a free 30-minute call, quote one fixed price, then deploy the system on your own accounts. You pay half when the build starts and half once it's delivered and deployed.

One admin got 4 to 5 hours a day back inside a 115-person manufacturer.

SMSI Group is an industrial manufacturer with about 115 people. One admin now gets 4 to 5 hours back every day, and three people have moved off manual work. Kyle's team built it with my coaching.

Chris has no coding background. A document workflow that took 2 days now runs in under 2 minutes. He built it himself as a coached client, then renewed for another 3 months.

Every work order cost 15 minutes of admin. Cal built a system that triages each work order and dispatches it, and his words afterwards were “Probably for one of the first times in my life, I feel like I’m in control.” Coached client.

When an owner would rather have the system built for them, this is what I hand over.

The £10,000 system I built for a UK exam centre with 600 to 800 candidates at peak.

Sanjeev Sirpal runs Exam Centre Birmingham. He handles GCSE and A-level candidates across four exam boards, takes bookings through two Shopify stores and is opening centres in Leeds, Dewsbury and Luton.

Before this build, every candidate had a Google Drive folder that staff found by searching names. With many candidates sharing a name, the same person sometimes ended up with two candidate numbers. Splitting one 500-result exam-board file into candidate folders took his team about 5 hours by hand, and each board sends one every exam series.

What the exam centre system does.

Filing approval screen: a Pearson statement matched to the right candidate with coverage checks passed

Every candidate, every centre, one search. Test records shown.

It runs on the exam centre's own Vercel account, hosted in London, and was quoted at £10,000, fixed and all-in.

Ask any AI consultant the date your team will first use what they build.

That date is the number that separates a working system from a plan. The done-for-you AI offers I see published quote 4 weeks or 30 days before anything reaches your team. Strategy engagements end with a roadmap, and somebody still has to build it.

I deliver a working first version in 7 to 14 days. The exact time depends on how complex the job is and how quickly your accounts and documents come through.

It's deployed on your own hosting account, usually Vercel, and you hold every login.

Two ways to work with me, depending on who you want building it.

I build it for you.

$10,000 to $50,000
Fixed quote per build

You tell me the job. I scope it on a free 30-minute call, then send a written brief with a fixed price. Builds range from $10,000 to $50,000, depending on how complex the job is.

Then I build it, deploy it on your accounts and hand it to your team working. You pay 50% to start and 50% once it's delivered and deployed.

After launch I manage and maintain it for $500 to $1,000 a month, depending on the system. New features and ongoing development are priced on top of that.

Guarantee: the system does what the brief says it will do, and it works.

Your team builds it with me.

If you'd rather your people learn to build, I work inside your team on a monthly retainer. Three-month minimum, then month to month.

Team Enablement, $2,500 a month

  • Two 60-minute build sessions a month on your real workflows, for up to 3 people
  • 4 async build reviews a month, answered within 48 hours
  • Your AI roadmap, kept up to date by me
  • A quarterly scorecard of hours saved

Embedded Advisor, $5,000 a month

  • A 60-minute build session every week, for up to 8 people
  • 8 priority reviews a month, answered within 24 hours
  • Direct access to me for build-or-buy decisions
  • A half-day deep-build workshop every quarter

Guarantee: something is live in your business in month one, or month two is free.

Who this is built for.

This works best for owners doing $1M to $20M a year whose team loses hours every week to the same admin. You already know which job takes the time.

You'd rather pay to have it built and running than learn to build it yourself. If your team wants to learn, the retainer above is made for that.

Questions owners ask before hiring an AI consultant.

How much does an AI consultant cost for a small business?

My builds are quoted at a fixed price, from $10,000 up to about $50,000 for complex jobs. Maintenance after launch is $500 to $1,000 a month. If your team builds instead, the retainer is $2,500 or $5,000 a month.

How long does a build take?

A working first version usually takes 7 to 14 days. The biggest variable is how quickly I get access to your accounts and the documents I need.

Who owns the system?

You do. The code is deployed on your own hosting account, usually Vercel, with your data in it.

Does my team need technical skills?

No. Your team uses the finished screens, and I handle the build and keep it running.

How do payments work?

50% when the build starts and 50% once it's delivered and deployed. How long that takes depends on the build and how quickly your accounts and documents come through. Maintenance is billed monthly after launch.

What happens after the first version?

I manage and maintain it for $500 to $1,000 a month. New features are quoted separately, so you only pay for what you add.

Should I hire you to build it or have you train my team?

If you want the job gone as fast as possible, I build it. If you want your team able to build the next one, the retainer is the better fit.
